DIY, Single, Couple, a few? King Island Travel Escape or Getaway
Group: 10+ people
You pick what interest & options you want in your package. 2 or 3 days is a quick escape. You can fit in some unique King Island experiences during a 4 to 6 day trip. Book. You then pack your bag - we'll do the rest
If your group is 20+ people, King Island Pleasure Tours will come to you, at a time & place that suits you & give you the King Island experience. Your guest speaker will be delighted to answer any questions about any part of your planned King Island adventure. (We will also give you 'a taste of King Island!)
What can you expect?
You don't have to worry about any part of your King Island holiday. Every group is different with with special interests & needs. It's our job to give you choice & an unforgettable time on King Island. King Island is an island in Bass Strait - & sometimes we may have to change something.
All you have to do is pack your bags, then our trusty driver will pickup your group and get you to your flight. We also make sure you get home after your holiday! We will meet you at King Island Airport & introduce you to everyone.
Your group package will have been designed to suit your group's interests & tastes. As a guide most package deals include all transfers, flights, bus transport, accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), morning & afternoon tea. Wherever possible if your travel dates coincide with a King Island event we will arrange entry.
Don't forget:
We can organise activities like golf, fishing, horse riding, entertainment live music evenings, entry to special or private events . We can even organise charter flights & flexible airport times or place. Some activities are not included in discount package deals - but if your group would like to include these, it is no trouble to incorporate & modify your package. Any itinerary can be extended if you need more than 2,3, or 4 days on King Island. Remember King Island is only 40 minutes away.
We cannot control everything - sometimes the weather, the airlines, or other island unpredictables can happen. This is part of the King Island charm & adventure. We will do our darnest to ensure that any changes are managed & will have a memorable (for all the good reasons) King Island experience.
Fund Raising & Hosting:
If your club is a not for profit, club or part of an Association or similiar we can arrange for you to visit the local King Island organisation or local partner (e.g. Lions Club International King Island, Rural Youth, NRM, Conservation, RSL, Beef & Dairy producers) first hand.
King Island Pleasure Tours will also make a donation back to your club from your group tour booking.
Maybe you are a medium - large group & not a club - maybe a wedding, international touring, reunion, or conference group? Ask us & we'll see what we can do for you.
DIY Travel & Private Group: 2 -8 people
If you like the look of some of our King Island itineraries but want DIY King Island - that's OK. You may want to golf & some want to see the King Island farms & historic sites. Maybe you are walkers, want to rent a car, have a private guided tour, self cater in your King Island accommodation or go to dinner in one of King Island's restaurants or have something prepared for you!
We can help you as little or as much as you want whether you're visiting 2, 3, 4 or more days. This is perfect for couples, family, group of friends getaway or a company King Island trip. Independent, no fuss & easy escape. You pick what options you want in your package, we'll do the rest
What can you expect?
You pick your date, your times, your activities. We meet you at King Island Airport, and relax with you for your King Island Orientation with a complimentary hot country breakfast and direct you to your accommodation. Even if you have decided to be completely independent we are contactable if you need any assistance while on King Island. .
Don't forget:
We can organise Victoria or Tasmania pickup & drop off services, flights, cars, guided tours & activities, restaurants, produce purchases including King Island crayfish, cheese & beef. We can even organise charter flights if airline schedules or locations don't suit.
