Behind the Scenes
Bev Kenney has over 25 years experience in the group travel, tourism industry. She has relocated her base to King Island.
King Island Pleasure Tours is independent & offers travellers choice, the hidden & the new.
Bev deals with every King Island supplier - all the airlines that fly to King Island & beyond, including the small & large charter flights. Packages offer hotel motel style accommodation, self catering, units, budget & luxury across the island, coast to coast.
Previously Bev's large Victorian cattle & dairy farms produced Australian champion stock. Their innovative breeding programs & exports attracted interstate & international attention. Her host farm & education programs grew & expanded into end to end travel packages for farmers across the country. It was a natural progression to move from farming into the fledgling Australian group travel & touring market.
Outback tours, city & unique experiences. There's very little she hasn't seen or experienced when organising & travelling with groups of all sizes, tastes & needs. From organising end to end trips for international non English speaking guests who want to camp in remote regions, through to social clubs who want a fun quick getaway or shopping experience.
Bev understands that every traveller, whether an individual, or in a small or large group has different interests, needs & wants a well priced, flexible, yet memorable experience. A lifetime of working with local tourism providers in both urban & wild Australia, she knows what is essential, expected & exciting.
